DESCRIPTION:

Superlegal/Lawgeex combines AI with human intelligence to provide commercial contract review. Superlegal is authorized to practice law under the Utah Sandbox and offers legal advice to a wide variety of clients. Its SaaS platform enables companies to efficiently reduce risk while supporting business growth and helps ensure that review guidelines are up-to-date and applied consistently.

We are seeking a 2023 or 2024 law school graduate to join our team as an entry-level commercial contract attorney.

As Commercial Contract Attorney, you will join Superlegal’s legal team focused on performing detailed contract review, analysis, and drafting while leveraging our proprietary legal AI platform. You will be trained on the job to edit, draft and revise a variety of commercial contracts (including service agreements, NDAs, SaaS agreements, product supply agreements, data processing agreements, software license agreements, and others).

REQUIREMENTS:

• JD and member in good standing of the Utah State Bar, or intention to sit for the Utah State Bar at the earliest opportunity
• Familiarity with or desire to learn the review, drafting, and negotiating of complex commercial contracts
• A strong desire to pursue a career as a commercial attorney
• Comfortably interact with senior executives and possesses excellent communication, writing, and editing skills
• Capacity to work independently yet collaboratively and to manage multiple priorities in a fast-pace environment
• Capacity to spend significant time reviewing and analyzing contracts
• Flexibility with and willingness to provide feedback on a developing SaaS platform in an ever-changing startup environment

LOCATION:

The position will be remote and/or in an office located in Salt Lake County or Utah County. Candidate must be local and available for face-to-face work and meetings.
