The will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing Automated Test Equipment systems for manufacturing and quality control processes. This function will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including design engineers, manufacturing engineers, and quality control personnel, to ensure the timely delivery of reliable and accurate test solutions.

Your day to day will include:

  • Designing and developing Automated Test Equipment (ATE) systems for manufacturing and quality control processes
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including design engineers, manufacturing engineers, and quality control personnel
  • Developing test programs, scripts, and procedures for various testing stages
  • Ensuring the accuracy and reliability of test results and troubleshooting any issues that arise
  • Creating and maintaining comprehensive documentation, including test specifications, procedures, and reports
  • Overseeing the maintenance and calibration of ATE equipment
  • Continuously evaluating and improving test methodologies, processes, and equipment
  • Support with debugging of test failures from production line and field failures
  • Monitor, analyze and continually improve ATE performance
  • Staying updated with industry trends and emerging technologies in ATE

You’d be a good fit if you have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field
  • Proven experience in designing and developing ATE systems
  • Strong knowledge of electronic circuits, digital and analog signal processing, test instrumentation, and programming languages
  • Experience in leading and managing a team of engineers and technicians
  • Familiarity with industry standards and methodologies for ATE system design
  • Proficiency in using ATE software development tools
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality in test system development and documentation
