We are seeking a highly skilled QA Automation Engineer with in-depth expertise in manual testing, strong analytical skills, and a foundational understanding of Python scripting and CI/CD pipelines. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in test planning, execution, and automation strategy development, ensuring software quality across the software development lifecycle.

Your day-to-day will include:

Manual & Functional Testing (Core Expertise)

• Design, document, and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and scripts for complex applications.
• Perform functional, integration, regression, usability, and exploratory testing.
• Identify, document, and track bugs using Jira or similar tools.
• Collaborate with product, development, and UX teams to define and validate requirements.
• Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and support development in improving software quality.

Test Automation & Python (Entry Level)

• Develop and maintain basic automated test scripts in Python.
• Implement UI and API tests with frameworks like Selenium, PyTest, or Robot Framework.
• Use Postman, RestAssured, or similar tools for API automation.
• Assist in designing scalable automation frameworks for UI and backend services.

CI/CD & Agile Testing

• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps).
• Work with DevOps teams to execute tests in Docker/Kubernetes environments.
• Ensure quality in Agile workflows, participating in stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
• Use monitoring tools to analyze test results and performance metrics

You’d be a good fit if you have:

• 5+ years of experience in manual testing across web, mobile, and API-based applications.
• Strong knowledge of test case design, test strategy, and defect lifecycle management.
• Hands-on experience with test management tools like Jira, TestRail, or Zephyr.
• Basic Python scripting experience for automation tasks.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated tests.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments as well as Waterfall
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot test failures.
