Job Description:
Beewise is seeking a Sales Development Representative (SDR) Manager to build our SDR team while driving new customer acquisition and revenue growth. The ideal candidate will have real-world knowledge of business-to-business sales best practices, a “player/coach” management style, and excellent communication skills. Guiding all of these efforts will be a metrics-driven approach to continuous improvement.
Responsibilities:
Own top of funnel pipeline generation for Beewise.
Individually contribute to SDR pipeline goals while building out your team and processes.
Optimize team performance by training around business development best practices and tuning sales processes and goals.
Partner with other revenue team leaders, as well as marketing to develop and optimize lead qualification and scoring criteria, allowing us to prioritize outreach and more accurately forecast the value of our pipeline.
Help marketing to test and iterate on messaging, as well as a mix of outbound sales channels, including but not limited to cold calling, text, email, social media outreach, and research-driven account-based-marketing.
Drive team adoption of customer relationship management (CRM) software to effectively track SDR activity metrics, campaign effectiveness, and prospect core business issues.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of our products, services, and industry trends, including competitor offerings and partnership ecosystems in order to effectively train your team and better offer insights from the field to product and marketing.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree preferred or relevant work experience
3+ years in business-to-business sales (preferably technology or agriculture)
2+ years of experience managing a business development team
Prior startup experience
A proven track record of hiring, coaching, and promoting SDRs
Proven success as individual contributor with prospecting via cold calling, email, and social selling
Experience with pipeline forecasting techniques, such as “Predictable Revenue”
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proficiency in customer relationship management (CRM) software
