Location: Beit HaEmek (north district) *we work from office*

Scope: Full time

Reporting to: Mechanical Team Leader

Responsibilities:

- Design and Development: Conceptualize, design, and implement
mechanical solutions, focusing on plastic components in alignment with
project requirements and industry standards.
- Production Support: Provide technical support to the production team,
ensuring adherence to deadlines, quality standards, and cost targets.
Implement corrective measures as necessary to maintain operational
efficiency.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with cross-
functional design teams, including hardware, electronics, and software, to
integrate mechanical components seamlessly into overall system designs.
- Partnership Management: Work closely with outsourced validation and
manufacturing partners to coordinate the timely delivery of systems and
devices according to specifications and project milestones.
- Enclosure Development: Lead the development of electro-mechanical
enclosures and packaging solutions, considering factors such as
functionality, durability, and manufacturability.
- Deployment Evaluation: Assess the performance of hardware and
software components during deployment to ensure smooth system
functionality and identify areas for optimization or enhancement.
- Client Coordination: Engage with clients' engineering teams and
management to facilitate effective communication, address technical
concerns, and ensure project efficiency and satisfaction.

Requirements:

- Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in designing plastic parts for
injection molding, with at least two years of experience in a start-up
environment.
- Demonstrated experience in robotics is essential for this role,
encompassing knowledge of robotic systems, mechanisms, and
applications.
- Proficiency in Solidworks or similar CAD software is required to design and prototype mechanical components effectively.
- Strong teamwork, creativity, problem-solving abilities, and analytical
thinking are essential qualities for success in this role.
- Exceptional organizational skills, characterized by tidiness, attention to
detail, flexibility, and adaptability are necessary to manage complex
engineering projects effectively.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Hebrew and
English are necessary for effective collaboration with internal teams,
external partners, and clients.
- A master’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field is
considered a plus.
