Through our Bees for Buildings program, we partner with corporations, property owners, and real estate developers to integrate Beehomes into urban and commercial spaces, promoting biodiversity and sustainability.

Position Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated Sales Development Representative (SDR) to drive lead generation and client engagement for the Bees for Buildings program. As the first point of contact with potential clients, you will identify and qualify leads, educating them on the benefits of partnering with Beewise to enhance their sustainability initiatives. This role is ideal for a proactive professional looking to grow in B2B sales within an environmental and tech-driven company.

This position is 100% on-site in San Ramon, CA.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Generation: Research and identify corporations, property owners, and real estate developers interested in sustainability and biodiversity initiatives.
  • Outbound Outreach: Initiate contact with potential partners through cold calls, emails, and social media to generate interest and set up meetings for Account Executives.
  • Qualifying Leads: Assess the needs of inbound and outbound leads to ensure alignment with Beewise’s mission and Bees for Buildings program goals.
  • Client Education: Communicate the value proposition of Beewise and Beehome placements within commercial and urban spaces.
  • CRM Management: Maintain accurate records of all interactions, ensuring seamless tracking of leads and follow-ups in CRM systems.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with Account Executives and marketing teams to refine outreach strategies and ensure smooth lead handoff.
  • Follow-Up: Engage with potential clients consistently to nurture relationships and advance them through the sales pipeline.
  • Market Insights: Stay up-to-date on industry trends, green building initiatives, and sustainability certifications (e.g., LEED, WELL) to identify new business opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: 2-3 years in sales, lead generation, or business development, preferably in B2B sales, real estate, sustainability, or tech solutions.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Environmental Science, Real Estate, or a related field preferred.
  • Sales Skills: Strong ability to research prospects, initiate conversations, and build initial client relationships.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to create compelling outreach messaging.
  • CRM Proficiency: Experience managing leads and tracking outreach efforts using CRM software.
  • Strategic Thinker: Ability to identify opportunities within the sustainability and real estate sectors.
  • Passion for Sustainability: A genuine interest in environmental initiatives, biodiversity, or corporate sustainability programs.
