Description

XTEND, is on a mission to increase the combat effectiveness of remote operators by developing remotely actable multi-robot missions. We revolutionize military operations and ensure the safety of fighters through advanced technology. We are seeking a highly motivated and results oriented Sales Director to lead our growth in the US Department of Defense (DoD) market.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with General Manager, Global Teams, experts in local markets, and technology partners to create unified offerings to customers
  • Work with new and existing clients to build a pipeline and secure new sales opportunities
  • Nurture relationships with DoD end-users and partners to drive growth in key mission areas
  • Coordinates accurate responses and the final delivery of detailed Request for Proposals (RFPs)
  • Provides accurate sales forecasts and reports
  • Provides market feedback to the management team to optimize sales strategy and positioning

Requirements

  • Minimum of 10 years of sales experience with sales activities and pursuits, including business development, proposals, statements of work, and revenue targets of $20M+
  • Minimum 10 years experience in the defense industry
  • Bachelor’s Degree - Must. MBA or equivalent - Advantage
  • Proven track record of overachieving quotas or equivalent measure metrics
  • Proven track record of successful and systematic government solicitations submissions.
  • Experienced in working in hardware and product companies
  • Proven history of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth
  • Experience in technology solutions and products
  • Experience selling to government
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Analytical thinker with the ability to analyse data and market trends
  • Proficiency in CRM software
  • US military service a plus
  • Willing to travel (around 50%)
