XTEND is a leading company specializing in the development and deployment of revolutionary human-guided autonomous drone systems for defense and homeland security applications. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Production Manager to join our growing team in the United States.

Job Summary:

The Production Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of production operations, ensuring efficient and timely manufacturing of XTEND's cutting-edge drone systems. This role requires a hands-on leader with a strong background in production management, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan, direct, and coordinate production activities to ensure on-time delivery of high-quality products.
  • Develop and implement production schedules.
  • Manage and optimize production processes to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance product quality.
  • Lead and mentor a team of production personnel, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor and analyze production data to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and other departments to ensure seamless production flow.
  • Manage inventory levels and ensure timely procurement of materials and components.
  • Implement and maintain quality control procedures to ensure product consistency and reliability.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production efficiency and effectiveness.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Production Manager in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the aerospace, defense, or technology industry.
  • Strong knowledge of production planning, scheduling, and inventory management.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Knowledge of quality management systems and lean manufacturing principles.
  • Experience with ERP systems and production management software.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of electronics manufacturing and assembly.
  • Experience with ISO 9001 or AS9100 quality management systems.
