Description

The VP of Strategic Partnerships at XTEND is a critical executive role reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO). This role is responsible for identifying, developing, and managing long-term, high-value relationships with global entities, corporations, and organizations that generate significant strategic value for XTEND's technological and business expansion.

Role Purpose:

To drive scalable global growth by executing targeted strategic partnerships that unlock new markets, secure access to complementary technologies, and strengthen XTEND's global competitive positioning.

Key Responsibilities:

A. Strategy & Business Development:

  • Formulate and execute a global partnership strategy aligned with the company's financial, technological, and market objectives.
  • Proactively identify and vet potential strategic partners (e.g., leading hardware manufacturers, large system integrators, complementary technology firms) whose solutions enhance XTEND's core offerings.
  • Conduct in-depth market analyses and perform business case assessments for proposed partnerships to quantify revenue potential and resource commitment.

B. Partnership Management & Execution:

  • Lead and manage all phases of complex commercial, technological, and legal negotiations with partners, culminating in signed agreements (covering pricing terms, IP rights, and revenue sharing).
  • Collaborate closely with Product and Engineering teams to ensure successful technical integration and Go-to-Market (GTM) strategy execution for co-developed or jointly offered solutions.
  • Oversee the ongoing relationship health of existing partners, maximizing mutual value and proactively resolving conflicts.

C. Internal & Executive Leadership:

  • Work intensely with Sales, Product, Engineering, and Finance teams to ensure that partnerships effectively support the needs and growth of the Business Units (XFABs).
  • Provide direct and consistent reporting to the CEO and Executive Team on progress, Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and emerging market opportunities

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Engineering, Business Administration, Economics). An MBA is a significant advantage.
  • Minimum of 10 years of proven experience in Business Development, Strategic Partnerships, or Senior Sales roles within the global technology sector, specifically in Defense, Autonomous Systems, or Drone Technology is mandatory.
  • 10+ years of proven experience working within Defense company.
  • Exceptional negotiation capabilities, a track record of closing complex deals, and familiarity with legal contract frameworks.
  • Strong strategic thinking, ability to see the "big picture," executive presence, and proven ability to build relationships at the C-Level.
  • Native or highly fluent English (written and verbal) is mandatory.
  • Willingness and ability to undertake frequent international travel.
